I know that exercise is very important if you suffer from Type II Diabetes, but I just find it hard to find the time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Jayme.  Thanks for joining BWW.  There are several things you could do to make exercise a part of your life:

1.  First, commit to a schedule. When you fail to plan you plan to fail. Don't try to haphazardly fit your workouts into your schedule without any rhyme or reason.
2.   Utilize the weekend. Take advantage of the fact that it only takes 3-5 days per week to put together an effective, results-producing workout. One trick to help you pull it all off is to workout on the weekends.
3. Enroll others in your cause.  Don't go at this alone. Let the important people in your life know what you are up to. Leverage these relationships to delegate some of your normal responsibilities or even allow you to shift appointments that you have with them as you restructure your schedule for your workout.

Hey Pam.  What works for me is working out before work.  I usually do 20 min to a pilates tape.  Just a FYI...

I wear a pedometer everyday and it counts the number of steps I walk.  My goal is walk 10,000 per day.  That is the recommended no. of steps for adequate physical activity.
