Surprisingly, I've always dated younger men...not by that much but just a couple of years younger.  For me, I've always heard I look considerably younger for my age so I'm not sure if the guys I dated were intentionally going for younger women. 

younger men and older women are both at their sexual peeks.  Maybe that's a thought.

Personally I think its all about growing up. Men dont know who they are until they know what kind of woman they want, at least in theory. Think about it this way. More and more African American Men are winding up behind bars, are they are lacking the professional male role model. The next best thing to this is an older woman. In essence you have to give the brothers a chance, the best way to get to know a woman is to gain the knowledge of older women who have played the field, seen some things in life and have some education. Dont take it personal ladies, wouldnt you rather have a grown professional man in a mans body, vesus a man who inside is still trying to figure out what kind of man he is going to become? Just a thought. Pesonally I dont date men but my opinion is a peek into the other side.
